Hello Jodi, Sherie and all friends,
Just as I was busy finishing my
assignments and duties on time in the last two days, my country Lebanon was busy as well welcoming the "dear visitor” that shyly comes every year during this time. The storms have been strong,
the snow and rain are heavy and the temperature in my hometown is freezing, something
we rarely encounter!
We’re enjoying the videos and photos as we
eagerly watch TV or read a magazine.
I’d like to share you some of these pictures!
Regards,
Nihmat
Hi Nihmat
ReplyDeleteIt seems too snowy in Lebanon and I hope it’s OK for you, Nihmat ! Fine images from beautiful landscapes! I am a nature lover, I definitely liked this selection. Thanks for sharing these amazing pictures of nature from lovely Lebanon.
Sidi, Morocco
Hi Sidi,
DeleteI'm very okay since my town is located on the coast, but I liked sharing this with you! Thanks for your caring comments!
Best regards,
Nihmat
Hello Nihmat,
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pictures and awesome words you used to describe the weather in your country! This kind of description makes participants relax and forget the tiring work!!
Thank you
Enjoy the beautiful weather!!
Salam
Hi Salam,
DeleteYes, it is definitely relaxing! I often like to end up my week with a soothing comment after the exhausting week I usually have.
Wishing you a wonderful coming week.
Nihmat
Hi Nihmat,
ReplyDeleteLooking at your gorgeous pics I wanted to cry "No!" Freezing temperatures and abundant snow are normal for my part of the world, but in Lebanon?! I think it is a disaster. I wish you keep warm and take good care of yourself. And also have fun, if you can.
Cheers,
Val, Belarus
Hi Val,
DeleteHope you are cozy and warm in Belarus during this time of the year.
See, heavy snow visited our country in the weekends. Most of the people on the coastal town headed for the near mountains to enjoy its scenery and fun activities. I did so on Sunday afternoon and enjoyed my time after a tiring week of assignments and school work.
Have a wonderful day, Val!
Best regards,
Nihmat
Thanks so much for sharing the pictures, Nihmat! I have to say that is NOT my imagine of Lebanon!! (By the way, my daughter teaches 2nd grade in Lebanon - but Lebanon, OREGON - a small town about 40 miles from Eugene!)
ReplyDeleteHi Jodi,
DeleteHope this message finds you very well.
In Lebanon, you might encounter two contrasting images since it is a small country where the mountains aren't far away from the coast.
I'm glad and surprised to know that there's a "Lebanon" city in the USA!
Please send my sincere wishes to your daughter in Lebanon!
Regards,
Nighmat
